Atlas — Terms of Use & Subscription Terms

These Terms govern your use of Atlas ("the app", "we"), a themeable navigation and map-exploration app available as a web app (PWA) and as a native iOS app. By using Atlas you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

Atlas provides map display, place search, route guidance, and a set of visual "world" themes. Core navigation and a set of free themes are available at no charge. Additional features are offered through an optional paid subscription, Atlas Plus. Atlas relies on third-party map, search, routing, and traffic providers and on your device's GPS; availability and accuracy are not guaranteed.

Atlas Plus subscription

Atlas Plus unlocks all 15 world themes, hazard alerts and reporting, distance stats and history, and cloud backup / sync across devices.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region and over time; the price shown in the app at the time of purchase governs. Applicable taxes may apply.

Free trial

• New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. The trial unlocks all Atlas Plus features immediately.
• Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the price of the plan you selected.
• One trial per user/device. If a trial has already been used, the offer will not be shown again.

Auto-renewal, billing & cancellation

• Auto-renewal: monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your payment method is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage / cancel:
  • iOS (App Store): manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID per Apple's standard EULA.
  • Web (Stripe): manage or cancel from the billing portal linked in your receipt email, or contact us.
• Effect of cancelling: you keep Atlas Plus until the end of the paid period; it does not renew after that. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
• Refunds: App Store purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy; web purchases are handled by us / Stripe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Restore purchases: use "Restore purchases" on the paywall to re-activate an existing subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.

Payments

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store IAP) or by Stripe (web). We do not receive or store your full card details. See Stripe's privacy policy and Apple's terms for how they process payments.

Acceptable use & safety

• Atlas is an aid, not a substitute for safe, attentive driving. Do not interact with the app while driving. Obey all traffic laws and road conditions; routes, hazards, and ETAs may be inaccurate or out of date.
• Do not misuse the app, attempt to circumvent paid features, or use it unlawfully.

Disclaimers & liability

Atlas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including reliance on maps, routes, hazard information, or ETAs.

Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes to pricing or subscription terms will be disclosed in the app before they take effect. Questions: traguyinvests@gmail.com.
